With over 30 years of combined experience in the painting industry, the KREED team draws inspiration from a legacy passed down through generations. Rooted in our family business, Reed & Sons Contracting Company in Birmingham, AL, we continue to uphold the values instilled in us by our dad, working side by side with our younger brother.
As a minority-owned and veteran-owned enterprise, KREED embraces and celebrates diversity. We believe in providing a vibrant and varied palette to the commercial paint industry, injecting color and life into every project we undertake.
Allow us to introduce our owner, Alton “Trey” Reed, named after his grandfather and dad. Originally from Louisville, KY, Trey’s journey led him to Birmingham during his fifth-grade year due to his mother’s career relocation, accompanied by the family’s loyal German Shepherd, Major.
Following high school, Trey served his country in the United States Navy, dedicating 21 years to his military service. Upon retirement, he pursued higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Spalding University and nearing completion of his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Louisville.
